Alison DeRosa, MBA

Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer, PROVOKE Health

Alison DeRosa, MBA, is the Chief Operating Officer of PROVOKE Health in Tampa, Fla., where she oversees the implementation of our organization’s short-term tactical trajectory and long-term goals and objectives. She also helps shape and monitor our quarterly and annual budgets, manages our human resources department, oversees our daily operations, and ensures that our healthcare practice remains in compliance with all regulations, guidelines, and standards as required by local, state, and federal entities.

Like other PROVOKE team members, Alison was drawn to functional medicine and a holistic approach to healthcare through personal experience. After 25 years of working in corporate finance, which often included 70-hour workweeks, Alison’s health and well-being began to deteriorate. By working with our practice’s founder, whom she has known since grade school, together they were able to identify the root causes of Alison’s decline in health. Over time, this fresh approach to her own healthcare helped — in her words — “to significantly live my best life.” It was at that point that she decided to switch gears and bring her strong business background to PROVOKE Health in order to help others do the same.

Prior to joining PROVOKE Health, Alison was president and principal broker of G2D Properties, operating under the G2D Group umbrella, a successful real estate investment and development firm in Huntington, New York.  Before that, she owned and operated Custom Realty Services, Inc., an independent NYC-based real estate brokerage firm; served as the Finance Manager to the founder at Ruben Capital Management; and worked as an analyst at the global investment firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (KKR).

Born and raised in New York City, Alison is a licensed real estate broker and a notary public. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in finance and management from Long Island University (Brookville, N.Y.) in 1999, and a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) in 2001 from LIU in coordination with Franklin University Switzerland and the London School of Economics.
