Dr. Karalynne Blochberger, MD

Medical Director, PROVOKE Health

Dr. Karalynne Blochberger, MD, is the Medical Director for PROVOKE Health in Tampa, Florida, where she practices Functional Medicine and Integrative Healthcare alongside the practice’s founder, Dr. Matthew Lewis. Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), Dr. Blochberger has practiced medicine at Access Primary Care (Orlando, FL) and Advent Health Primary Care Plus (Orlando).

Affectionally known to our patients as “Dr. B.,” the Chicago-born physician completed her undergraduate studies at Hope College in Holland, Mich., where she graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry and Spanish. Five years later, she received her medical degree (MD) from Michigan State University’s College of Human Medicine in East Lansing.

At PROVOKE Health, Dr. Blochberger provides our patients with medical treatments that include hormone replacement therapy, peptide therapy, IV nutritional therapy, and other treatments that require a prescription. More importantly, her objective is to help our patients discover the “why” behind their symptoms in order to determine the “how” of their return to optimal health, resiliency, and confidence. By providing the right environment and the use of natural and prescription therapies, she believes the body can heal itself.

Dr. Blochberger’s decision to join PROVOKE HEALTH as Medical Director came about after hearing of Dr. Lewis’ work related to complex chronic health conditions, including thyroid disorders, hormone imbalance, and mold toxicity, among others. An active member of her church community, Dr. Blochberger enjoys spending her free time with her husband and two sons, visiting extended family, and appreciating a change of scenery.
