April Christians, APRN, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner at PROVOKE Health and is stationed in our Lutz, FL, location. She blends her clinical expertise with a deep passion for integrative and functional medicine to help patients uncover and resolve the root cause of their health concerns. April graduated from the University of Tampa with a Master of Science in Nursing and completed Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice (AFMCP) through The Institute for Functional Medicine in 2023.

She has over a decade of experience in healthcare, including emergency medicine, intensive care, and post-anesthesia recovery. Her journey with functional medicine began after being inspired by her husband’s own healing through integrative care, which in turn inspired her to help others uncover and address the root causes of their health concerns.

April’s areas of focus include peptide therapy, hormone optimization, fertility and women’s health, anti-aging, and regenerative medicine. She believes that by identifying and treating the underlying imbalances in the body, true healing and vitality can be restored.

Her approach to care is highly educational and empowering, and she takes time to help patients understand the “why” behind each recommendation so they can take ownership of their health journey. Passionate about helping patients feel their best, April sees functional medicine as an opportunity to not just manage symptoms, but to truly optimize quality of life.
